MANNING - FLOYD BROWNLOW, 86
of 3008 North Street, Chattanooga, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Mr. Manning owned and operated the F. B. Manning Realty Co. for many years, but had worked in the Clerk Master's Office of the Hamilton County Courthouse for the past three years. He was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Vera Sargent Manning; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy E. McKinley, both of Chattanooga; son, Clarence R. Manning, Birchwood, Tenn.; seven sisters, Mrs. Suda Leni, Mrs. Bess Stenenson,
Mrs. Elizabeth Byous and Mrs. Maggie Reno, all of Chattanooga; Mrs Alice Whalen, Daisy, Tenn.; Mrs. Effie McDaniels, Harrison, Tenn.; Mrs. Viola Griffith, Tampa, Fla.; brother, Luther Manning, Atlanta, Ga.; 16 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Valley View Chapel with Dr. J. Fred Johnson and the Rev. Fate Thomas officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hamilton County Courthouse Clerk Master's Office. The body is at the Valley View Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home Inc.
