    G. Ray Penney, 75, of East Ridge, died Wednesday in a local hospital.He was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, the AdultBible Class and retired from U. S. Pipe and Foundry Company. Survivorsin include his wife, Sarah Prince Penney; two daughters, Joyce Carter,East Ridge, Shirley Pope, Stockbridge, Georgia; sister, Beulah Chapin,Lansing, Michigan; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Tom Seay and theReverend Mark Womack officiating. Burial will be in Lomenick Cemetery.Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 today at the East Chapel of ChattanoogaFuneral Home.
