Obituary for Joy Smith Wright
Joy Wright
Joy Smith Wright, 73, of Hixson passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at her home. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She loved cold jewelry, frogs, new vacuum cleaners, the Life Time TV Network and action films. She was preceded in death by her husband; Billy Hughes Wright, son; David W. Johnson, parents; Matt and Phoebe Smith, sister; Bea Moses, brother; Norman Smith, faithful companion; Gitzie Marie.
She is survived by her daughter; Carol J. (Tom) Phillips, step-son; Chris Wright, grandchildren; John Johnson, Phoebe Cox, Nathan Jones, Katie and Thomas Stangarone, Maggie Fotiadis, Peter Fotiadis. 11 great-grandchildren, nephew; Dennis Moses, 4 great-grand pets.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the service at Lakewood Memory Gardens-East. Family will receive friends from 5-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
