August 11, 1925 - October 8, 2014
Maude Elizabeth West Price, 89, of Soddy-Daisy, succumbed to a lengthy illness on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, and has gone to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lottie West; her devoted husband of almost 59 years, Alvin York Price and sister, Vivian Louise West Evans.
Survivors include her son, Larry Joe Price of Alcoa; granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Price of Maryville; grandson, Barclay Andrew Price of Friendsville; sister, Janice E. West Lowe of Soddy-Daisy; nephew Max Anthony Lowe and wife, Teresa of Soddy-Daisy.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to express deep appreciation to her long-serving caregivers for their devoted service to her needs and for their caring for her as a person.
