  [S16] Obituary. June 22, 1930 - January 1, 2011 Charles E. “Bud” Stamey, 80, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011. He was a member of Liberty Outreach Non-denominational Church and retired from Chattanooga Box and Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Stella Stamey and brothers, Claude and Eugene Stamey. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lorraine Vincent Stamey; sons David and Eddie Stamey; daughter, Deborah Crawley; brothers, Leroy and Glenn Stamey; sisters, Joyce Hutton, Betty Jo Rue, Lille Mae Massangale, Geraldine Sims and Edna Skinner, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren to whom he was the greatest dad and papaw ever along with special extended family friend James Dotson and family. Services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Brinkley and Rev. Jimmy Dotson officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Wilkey Cemetery.
