  [S16] Obituary. January 21, 1948 - November 7, 2014 Robert Wayne “Bob” Adams, 66, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014. He lived most of his life in Hixson and was of the Baptist faith. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Kroger after 25 years where he was a store manager. He liked to camp and fish and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee Vols. Bob was avidly involved in his sons’ lives and loved watching their baseball and football games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Doris Adams and mother and father-in-law, Alvin and Rachel Williams. Survivors include his wife, Judy Adams; sons, Dale Adams and David Adams (Jennifer); brother, Larry Michael Adams; sister, Beverly Wells; grandchildren, Emma Adams, Isabella Adams and Hunter Lively; niece, Michelle; nephews, Terry, Monty, Rusty and Kevin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Butch and Mary Williams. Services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kyle Hinch officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
