She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & Bertha Carpenter; son, Scottie Patterson; grandson, Levi Patterson and brothers, Jr Thomas, Carl Carpenter and Ed Carpenter. She is survived by her husband, Thurman L. Patterson; brother, Carlin (Marilyn) Carpenter; sister, Joyce (Aulton) Phillips; children, Joella (Larry) Cox, Kenneth (Tina) Patterson, Cheryl (Delbert) Frederick, Wayne (Marci) Patterson, Tonya (Chuck) Martin; grandchildren, Charles Ashley, Jr., Travis Ashley, Chayton Patterson, Kegan Frederick, Keely Frederick, Kody Patterson, Kaleb Patterson, Korbin Patterson, Kailyn Patterson, Emily (Joey) Conner, Katelyn Martin and Jessica Martin and a great-grandchild, Robby Conner. The funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2014, graveside, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, with Reverend Al Kaschimer officiating. Visitation is 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.
