  [S16] Obituary. OBITUARY: Slatton - Mrs. Ida, 71, of Soddy, Tenn., died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Virgie Rivley [sic - Rievley], early Tuesday morning. She was a member of the Soddy Church of Christ. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. [Virgie] Rivley [sic], Soddy: Mrs. Herman Shadwick, Soddy; Mrs. Jessie Jones, Golden, Colo; four sons, Victor Slatton, Chattanooga, Loather Slatton, Sale Creek, George Slatton, Darrington, Wash; Charles Slatton, Denver Colo; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Myers and Mrs. T. H. Metzlaars, both of Mattoon, Ill; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from Soddy Church of Christ conducted by Minister Paul Buchanan and James Ard. Interment will follow in Rogers Cemetery, Pallbearers will be Charlie Grimsley, Brooks McRee, W. N. Weeks, Henry Travis, Paul Jones, Estil Varner and Howard Lee.
