Charles Ray Johnston, 63, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at a local hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was an Iron Worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Retha Harvey Johnston.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Arp Johnston, sons, Ray (Erin) Johnston of Soddy-Daisy, Kyle (Ginger) Johnston of Hixson, Mitchell Rankhorn and Corbin Rankhorn both of Soddy-Daisy, brothers, Johnny Johnston of Soddy-Daisy, Sheridan Johnston of Charleston, TN., sisters, Maxine Shipley and Susie Johnston both of Ooltewah, 7 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Wilson officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
