Louise Thatcher Card April 21, 1908 - September 14, 2006 Obituary for Louise Thatcher Card Louise Card Louise Thatcher Card, 98, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away, Thursday September 14, 2006. She was born on April 21, 1908, to the late Lottie Scybert Thatcher and John Coulter Thatcher, pioneer settlers of the Soddy Area. She was a member of the Soddy United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph (Billie) Card, son William Seldon (Bill) Card and a brother, John C. Thatcher. She is survived by her son, Warren Thatcher (Shirlyn) Card; daughter, Patsy (Noel) Irwin; daughter-in-law, Helen Card; five grandchildren, LuAnn McCuiston, Kimberly Noorbergen, Sharon Wood, Thatcher Card and Patti Smith; six great-grandchildren, Spencer Cagle, Summer Cagle, Tyler Wood, Jordan Wood, Dustin Card and Trevor Card and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 TO 9:00 Friday. A special thanks to Dr. Gould and the Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center Staff.
