Sevier “Pop” Lovelady, 85, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009. Pop was of the Baptist Faith and was a Truck Driver for most of his life. He loved his family and his music and took great pride in everything he did.
He is preceded in death by three children, Fay, Michael and Susan, his parents and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Pearl Massengale Lovelady; three children, Doyle Lovelady, Connie Miller, Sharon McGowan; five grandchildren, Patricia Cooper, Adam Presley, Karen Williams, Amber Denton, Josh Miller; ten great-grandchildren, Ericka & Corey Cooper, Ridgeland & Stetson Presley, Blake Williams, Colin Denton, Allyson Goss, Caleb & Carter Denton, Ayden Miller and one great-great-grandchild, Logan Cooper.
The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Boydston Cemetery. Visitation is 2:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
