Burial will follow at Elliott-Hamil Garden of MemoriesCemetery. Mr. Penney retired from the Air Force and had owned the OakStreet Trading Post. Survivors include his wife, Mary Penney of Abilene;two stepsons, Eddie Guillen of Dallas and Ernest Guillen of Lubbock;three daughters Reba Lynn and Teresa Baily of Ringold, Georgia, and MaryAnn Penney of Abilene; a stepdaughter, Julia Cantu of San Antonio; twosisters, Viva Yates of Rossville, Georgia, and Betty Santos of Florida;four grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.
