  [S16] Obituary. JANUARY 12, 1941 ~ APRIL 15, 2018 Jerry Nelson, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away April 15, 2018. He retired from TDOT. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Nelson; his parents, William and Ethel Nelson, five brothers and one sister. He survived by his siblings, Mary K. Raines, Virgie M. Rice and Danny L. Nelson; a special nephew, Cecil Rice, Jr. along with several other nieces and nephews. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and 10:00 A. M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
