She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Sarah Penney Parrott; daughter, Wanda Patterson; brothers, J.W. “Red” Parrott, Millard Parrott, J.C. “Eugar” Parrott and a sister, Ruby Walker. She is survived by her daughters, Hazel Smartt, Ruth Abernathy; sisters, Imogene Chadwick, Dorothy Carter, Betty Jo Rice; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
