PORTER, MRS. CLARA 87. wife of the late Rev. J. M. Porter. died Monday
night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. T. Henry. atld Mr. Henry at
Cooper Heights, Ga. She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. T. T. Henry, Cooper Heights, Ga. Mrs. Rex
Henry, Cassandra, Ga.: Mrs. Roy Nale, Chattanooga: Mrs. C. C. Langdon, Chesapeake, Ohio and Mrs. Fred Willson, South Point, Ohio: four sons,
George Porter, Delray Beach. Fla, Oley Porter, Hixson, Tenn., E. M. Porter.
Scotch Town, Ohio, and a stepson, J. W. Childress, Huntington, W. Va.: one
sister and a brother in Huntington, W. Va.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the funeral
home of J. Avery Bryan Company, Dr. Lee Roberson officatlng. Interment
in Red Bank Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons of the deceased: Harold
and Roy Nale, Jr, Talmage Henry, Hubert and Milton Porter and Willard Smith. The body is at the funeral home or J. Avery Bryan Company.
