  [S16] Obituary. November 19, 1950 - April 24, 2016 James Lebron “Bron” Smith, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016. He was a self-employed painter known as “Mr. Painter” to most people. James was an avid fan of the University of Alabama – ROLL TIDE! He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Juanita Smith; brother, Gary Smith and granddaughter, Jerni Harden. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Connie Austin Smith; son Nathan Smith (Annamae); daughter, Nicole Smith Harden (Ireland); sisters, Shirley Hayes and Carol Teat (Tony); sister-in-law, Helen Jennings (Bob); grandchildren, Rage, Jerran, Cain and Maylee; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
