  [S16] Obituary. October 5, 1968 - April 14, 2016 James Michael "Mike" Hamby II, 47, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Mike was born on October 5, 1968 to happy parents, Mike and Joyce Hamby. He left us to soon and crossed over to the other side of eternity into the hands of a loving God and Father. He was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and was a member of IBEW Local 175 in Chattanooga. Left to cherish in his memory are his parents, Joyce and Mike Hamby; sister and brother-in-law, Felicia and Paul Lemke; dearly loved nephews and niece, Jacob, Logan and Hannah Benton. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Sneed officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11:00 AM Monday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
