  [S16] Obituary. June 29, 1938 - February 12, 2014 Myrna S. Hamby, 75, woke up in God’s hands on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanice and Helen. Survivors include her husband, Ples Hamby; sons, Steve (Wilma) Hamby , Randy (Michelle) Hamby; daughters, Linda (Terry) Roberts, Sandra Stewart and her fiancé, Jose Andino, Cynthia (Daniel) McGuffie; sisters, Mary May, Betty Carlisle, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; all of Soddy-Daisy. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Thursday, February 13, at the funeral home.
