November 13, 1943 - April 18, 2012 Mary Francis Bookout, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, TN and a member of the Mowbray Baptist Church, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2012, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born November 13, 1943 to the late Lelard and Catherine Shelby and was proceded in death by her two brothers Gene and Donnie Shelby. She is survived by her husband of fifty years Jerry Bookout; two sons Paul (Donna) and Richard (Tracy); four grandchildren, Deborah, Brandon, Austin, and Brandi; and brothers, Charlie (Maggie) and Jerry (Darlene) Shelby. She was a life-long resident of Soddy Daisy, TN where she had been a substitute teacher, an avid hunter, and loved fishing with her children and grandchildren on their family pond. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend who was a blessing to all that knew her. A special thanks to Kimberly Grant, Janie Frizzell and family, and all the other many people for the time and loving care they showed to Mary. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.
