  [S16] Obituary. January 9, 1930 - October 27, 2011 Sarah “Ruth” Stuart, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to write poetry. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Joseph and Sarah Ivey; daughter, Francie Howell; twin sister, Ruby Parker; sisters Betty Jo Atchley and Georgia Arp. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Marvin Stuart; daughters, Vickie Sullivan and Suzanne Smith; son-in-law, Jerry Howell; brothers, Harold and David Ivey; grandchildren, Sean (Kyrie) Sullivan, Eric (Melanie) Sullivan, Brad (Joni) Sullivan, Michael (Debra) Davidson and Amy (Ron) Gibson along with 11 great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
