  [S16] Obituary. Walker, Ethel Patterson Ethel Patterson Walker, 82, died on Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, in a local hospital. She was a member of East Soddy Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon H. Walker; and two sons, Willard Griffin and Charles M. Walker. She is survived by her sons, Eddie Walker, Soddy-Daisy, the Rev. Jimmy Walker, Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Betty Lou Alexander, Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Louise Penney, Soddy-Daisy, Betty Jo Davis, Cleveland, OJ; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at East Soddy Church of God with Bishop Calvin Nunley, the Rev. Jimmy R. Walker and the Rev. Russell Irwin officiating. Ms. Walker’s body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in East Soddy Church of God Cemetery.
