  [S16] Obituary. September 21, 1948 - October 9, 2009 Dennis Allen Wright, 61, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 in a local hospital. Born in Etowah, he lived in the Hixson area for over 30 years. He was of the Church of God faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from T.V.A after 25 years and was a member of the Labor Union Local # 846. Dennis loved to watch the University of Tennessee play football. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Sue Wright along with his brother Daniel Ray Wright. Survivors include his loving wife, Joan Wright; sons, Rodney Wright, Chris June, David June and Jeffrey June; daughters, Amanda Stokes and Tammy Wright; brothers, David Wright and Dale Wright; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Arville Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
