  [S16] Obituary. HAWKINS - FRED T., 63, of Soddy, Tenn., died at the residence early Thursday morning. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy and a retired coal minter. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marie Hawkins, Soddy; three sons, Buddy, Tony and Mack Hawkins, all of Soddy; three daughters, Mrs. Hiram Gilbert, Soddy; Mrs. Jimmy Selvidge, Hixson, Tenn.; and Mrs. Betty Lou Hawkins, Soddy; two brothers, Lynn Hawkins, Soddy and John Hawkins, Daisy; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Neighbors, Soddy; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2pm at the Soddy Church of God, the Revs. Howard McGee and Andrew Conner officiating. Interment will be in Hot Water Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Everett Laymon, Brutus Rose, Andrew Madison, Lonnie Rose, Arthur Conner, Mart Eustice.
