Penney - James Edward, 86, of Wetumpka, Alabama, died Saturday in ahospital there. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Penney; four sons,Jack and James A. Penney, Wetumpka, Marvin and John Penney, Chattanooga;daughter, Patricia Busby, Dallas; brother, Ray Penney, Chattanooga;sister, Beulah Chappin, Lansing, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 21great-children. Services were at 11 a.m. CDT Monday in the funeral homechapel with the Reverend Travis Connell officiating. Burial was inPineview Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Gassett Funeral Home,Wetumpka.

Imogene N. Penney of Wetumpka, Alabama died Tuesday, November 11, 1997at her home. She was 87. Survivors include three sons; Jack Penney,Wetumpka, and Marvin and John Penney, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; adaughter, Patricia Busbey, Garland, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 22great-grandchildren. Funeral services were today at 11 a.m. at EllisonFuneral Home in Wetumpka, with the Reverend Burdette Doctor and theReverend Jimmie Ellis officiating. Burial was in Pineview MemorialGardens in Wetumpka. Memorial contributions may be made to the BaptistHospice, P. O. Box 11010, Montgomery, Alabama 36117.
